Uplink
Fly PC sims from your phone.
What it is
Uplink FPV Sim Controller turns an iPhone into a transmitter for desktop flight simulators. Stick and switch input from the phone streams to a companion app running on a computer over the local network, and appears to that computer as a controller for a compatible simulator.
The phone is already in your pocket. Sim practice normally means owning a radio and remembering to pack it; this is for the evening you want to fly and the radio is in the other bag, and for anyone deciding whether the hobby is for them before spending anything on hardware.
The controls
- Flight axesThrottle, yaw, pitch, roll — 100 Hz over Wi-Fi
- SwitchesFive, laid out like a RadioMaster Pocket: arm, rate profile, turtle, beeper
- Stick feelRates, expo and dead band, per axis
- Stick modeMode 1 or mode 2
- Artificial horizonWith Liftoff
- PairingScan a QR code, or type the short code under it
- Other devicesA browser controller runs from the PC for phones and tablets that cannot install Uplink
It is not a simulator — the sim on your PC draws the flying. It is not a radio, and not for flying real aircraft.

Nothing has shipped yet, and there is no release date to give. Download carries the state of each platform, and will tell you when that changes.
How it works
- Install the companion app on the computer running the simulator.
- Open Uplink on an iPhone connected to the same local network.
- The phone and the companion app pair directly over that network — no account and no internet connection required.
- The simulator sees a standard controller.
Where it stands
Built and flown daily on Windows, in release testing, not yet published. If you want an email the day it ships, that is the whole mailing list — one message, no newsletter.
